Can I request a quote from a particular business?

Yep, if you have found the business you are looking for, just click on their profile and there will be a "Request a quote" button at the top of the page. This will then prompt you to fill in your contact information and a brief job description.

What if I'm not happy with the Trades or service provider?

If you are not happy with the service you have received from one of our businesses, we strongly encourage you to contact us. We will review the complaint and contact the business immediately. We take our users comments very seriously as our recommended businesses are a representation of our company.

We have over 220 categories listed on our site. Some of these include: electricians, plumbers, builders etc. You can request a quote  or search our directory.

Can I search a specific business on service.com.au?

How do I create a user profile on service.com.au?

How do I create my own business profile?

As soon as you register your business on Service.com.au, a profile is created and you can upgrade this to a premium profile listing at any time. 

How can I upgrade my account?

To upgrade your account you log into your existing account, bringing you to your business dashboard. On this page, there will be a button to upgrade today and simply follow the prompts to get set up.

Can I promote multiple services?

Absolutely, with a premium profile listing you can list your business under a number of categories. We highly recommend this in order for your business to appear in multiple searches and receive more traffic and leads.

How do I change my details/update my profile?

You can edit your information by simply logging into your account. It is free to make as many changes as you like. You can add new photos of work that you've recently completed for example. Please feel free to contact us if you are having any difficulties.  

How can I renew my premium profile listing?

We will contact you a month before your subscription is due for renewal to discuss your year with us. If you are happy (which we sure you will be) we will re-sign your business.

How can I get more jobs?

If you are not satisfied with the amount of work you are receiving from our site, we encourage you to contact us. In many cases it can be as simple as assessing your current profile and recommending a few changes.

How do I get badges?

Your business can earn different badges on our site through a 3-step verification process. This process verifies items such as a current ABN or license, customer reviews and pictures of past work. You will generally get more work as you earn more badges.

What are my payment options?

At Service.com.au we accept Visa, MasterCard, AMEX or bank deposits.

I forgot my password/ How do I change these?

If you have forgotten your password don't panic! under the Login tab there is "forgot my password" button that you can click and an e-mail to change this password will be sent to you. If you want to change your current login or password, this can be done through your account settings once you have logged on.

Can I turn down a request for a quote if I am too busy?

Any requests for a quote will be e-mailed to you, if you are too busy or simply not interested in quoting for a particular job you are not obliged to accept it. 

Can my business be listed in more than one area?

Absolutely, when you sign up for a premium listing on Service.com.au, your page covers up to a 150 km radius from your home base location. If you would like to be listed in more than one location to cover a wider area, you will need multiple pages.

Will I get a notification when my listing expires?

Approximately two weeks before your premium listing expires, you will be sent an email notification inviting you to renew your subscription. Shortly after, if we have not heard from you, you will be contacted by one of our customer care team to see how you'd like proceed. 

Can I target the type of jobs that I want?

Of course! Our main objective is to get you the work that you want. Therefore, we target the key words and categories that your business will be found under as well as the description of work that your business does in your listing.

Where can I see ratings my customers have given me?

Once you have completed a job, the customer will be prompted to give your business a rating on Service.com.au. You will be sent an e-mail informing you of any ratings and comments that you have received from past customers.

Can I respond to customer feedback?

Once you log in to your account, you will have the option of responding to customer feedback.

Can I put Service.com.au testimonials on my businesses' main website?

Definitely, your business has worked hard for its positive reviews and you are more than welcome to display these on your main website.
