A friend recommended Hardy Construction to us when we were looking to renovate the lower level of an old Queenslander that we had just moved into. From the first contact with John I was impressed. He arrived on time, had a long discussion with me about my plans for our home and gave me an idea on the timeframe for our project. He immediately sent through a quote (as we had discussed) and was as always easy to contact. We went ahead with the work as per contract and we were impressed by his teams attention to detail, regular updates, any issues that came up on the building site. Each evening we would come home to find that the site would always be left tidy. We were very happy with the end result of the renovation and will always contact Hardy Constructions for any further renovations we undertake. We would recommend them to anyone looking for an honest and helpful builder who has your best interests at heart.

John's phone number came to me from a friend whose place he extended. From the get go, I knew I was in very safe hands as he was so knowledgeable about building and eager to help. Thus, after I obtained all the necessary paperwork to put a new building at the back of my old Queenslander - with his guidance of course - there was no question that he would be my builder. Throughout the build, John was extremely consultative in his approach; he didn't follow the plans blindly but questioned how the placement or use of certain elements would affect the final result, and in turn, my enjoyment of the house. He did his best to warn me of schedule or cost overruns ahead of time - which true to his word, were kept to a minimum. John's eye for detail and finish is second to none and I often found his standards a lot more exacting than mine; which, for me the home-owner, is a boon. Summarily, I would not hesitate to recommend John to anyone who needs building work done. He's a great builder!

Thank you so much for our dream kitchen renovation. We now have the kitchen that we had dreamed and talked about for so long it seemed we would never do it. John was able to assist us with ideas that produced the exact result we were after, and even better we overcame space restrictions and budgetary constraints that we thought could not be solved. And it now looks fantastic.

We were initially apprehensive and very overwhelmed by the scope of our building project until Hardy Construction took the project on and guided us through each step. We always felt in control and had a builder in John who listened to us and always consulted with us. There were no surprises and we knew what was happening every step. It all ended up being so much easier than we ever thought.
