I requested a quote from Just Repairs and Maintenance, I supplied photo’s of the job and a full description of the range hood I would like installed. I received a quote on the 29/04/2025, I agreed to the quote subject to an inspection, Keith rogers attended the property on 6th may, there was no further update on cost, and he proceeded to work on the property over the course of 4 weeks for approx. 2 hours at a time. Installation of the range hood was problematic blaming the unit was faulty being twisted, I have since contacted the manufacture and their response was why did they install it if they found it was faulty. I had Keith repair cornice and ceiling, however the ceiling was not repaired, and the cornice patching looked better before it was touched. I called Just Repairs and Maintenance today 20/05 at 3:40pm after receiving an invoice today 20/05/2025 which has a date of issue of the 15/05/2025, suggesting that its now a day overdue and for $700 over the quoted job that wasn’t discussed and didn’t even look close to being finished and a rangehood install that has devalued the house. I am in dispute of the invoice and currently in discussions with the range hood manufacture and Just Repairs and Maintenance regarding the very poor quality of workmanship, so far I have spent two full days cleaning up residue from his work over my kitchen and removing plaster from my tiles, carpet and driveway. I asked Just Repairs and Maintenance to a meeting at the property so I could run through and show him the concerns I have regarding his work and he was not prepared face such a meeting. I do not recommend his work, and at the time of this review it is ongoing.

I had a door prepared and ready to be installed, but unfortunately the work done was subpar. The handle was installed on the wrong side which required a replacement and additional painting. When Keith returned the hole for the handle was too big so it doesn't function correctly. The paint job was very messy with drip marks and the door is not cut straight and with obvious saw marks throughout. Very disappointing quality of work and not what expected at all.
