What information do I need to provide you with for a competitive quote?
Photos of the areas to be painted and measurements where possible help us prepare an initial estimate and understand the condition of the surfaces. If needed, we can also arrange a site inspection to assess preparation, access and the finish required in person.

Do you specialise in any work in particular?
Yes. Alongside residential repaints and restorations, we specialise in Porter’s decorative finishes, including French wash. It is a great choice for feature walls and spaces where you want more depth, texture and character than a standard painted finish.
How long have you been in the business?
John started Ultracoat Painting & Decorating in 2018, building on the painting skills passed down through his family. As a third-generation painter, him and his team brings that hands-on family experience into every project.

Payment is generally due on completion. For larger projects, we may require a deposit before work begins, with the remaining balance payable on completion.
