If there was a trophy for worst front yard in the neighbourhood I’d like to think we’d have had one hand on it! “Jungle” would have been very apt. Matt had transformed our back yard two years ago (it’s on the fire-pit section) and I had forgotten to write a review for his excellent work then so I apologise. We decided to go with a clean slate for the front yard and invited Matt round to discuss ideas. As usual he talked me down from the ledge with my rambling vision and asked if we’d be willing to go with something a little more adventurous. I said why not, couldn’t be any worse than what we had. He sold us on an Asian-themed bush landscape with scaled rocks and creek with pond. Sounded fine to us. Well Matt and his team have just finished up after a week or so of sculpting a new front yard that can only be described as breathtaking. Even though it will take time for the garden to mature it is already impressive, with a creek and pond, garden art, custom letterbox, and a centrepiece Japanese maple. I do have issues though, one is that we now have run out of outdoor spaces for Matt to transform and the second problem is the amount of time it takes me to walk from the car to the house as I find myself wandering the new landscaping admiring the details. I can’t recommend Matt and his team enough for their vision, work ethic, and ability to work to a budget. Thankfully he left a company sign on my fence so I don’t have to answer as many questions from passers-by! Thanks again Matt.
