What information do I need to provide you with for a competitive quote?
As much as possible including images of what needs repairing or replacing. Time frame of when you need it done etc.
Why should I hire you over another business?
I have experience, I am quite fussy in the way I do things & I like quality. I take on work & treat it as if I was doing it in my own home. Cheapest is not always best.
Do you offer a guarantee on the work that you carry out?
Yes, I won’t walk away & request payment unless I am satisfied & happy with the finish quality of my work. You may call me back to do more work on your home, but not for the same job. Do it once properly.
Do you specialise in any work in particular?
I do, I love & mostly enjoy working with timber. I can do most types of handyman work but prefer doing, doors, skirting, architraves etc. some custom made furniture. Ask & we’ll see if I can help you complete your project.
How long have you been in the business?
I have been working in the handyman industry since I was 16. I started out just installing blinds for a store I worked in, in my spare time. From there my love for building things, repairing things & figuring out how things worked grew to a passion for perfection. I realised that working with timber was always something I enjoyed.
Is your pricing competitive?
Yes & no. What are you comparing when looking at price? Quality workmanship does not come at a cheap cost. Price is what you pay but value is what you get. Yes I am if you are comparing quality work & no, if you just want to cheapest price.
What are the terms of payment?
That depends on what you are comfortable with, whether you can claim your work etc. some people like direct bank transfer, OSKO, cash. I don’t mind any of the above, as long as I get paid for the work I complete.
What happens if there is an emergency relating to my job that requires immediate attention?
Get in touch straight away & we can attend to it as quickly as possible.
